A new week

Today is 3 weeks post surgery.  It has been really cold recently which cuts in on any practice walking outside.  The halls of our apartment building have limited appeal after a while.  But today Redjeb went into the stairwell and went up and down some flights of stairs.  They are very steep and long, so he did more down than up.

Juanita arrived today to take his blood.  We gave her a Christmas present, which seemed to surprise her.  She really doesn't expect anything in return for her kindness.
The gift was quite appropriate for her, I think:  A beautiful cake of soap in the form of an angel.

One of these days Redjeb should be able to walk to her office, as it is only 3 blocks away.  But today the temperature was in the teens, so didn't seem to be the right day to try.  He could probably get there, but then there is always the problem of getting home....taxi!!!

We are here for the winter, so any of you out there who want to drop by just give a call.  We have been out of contact for a while so will be good to see friendly faces.  (Should add though, that if you have a cold, or are just getting one or getting over one, we'd appreciate your waiting till you are fine.  Don't want to take any chances here.)
