Anyway, they are keeping him there making sure that all the blood levels or whatever levels are OK before they let him go. have to adjust medications and such. But he looks great, can walk longer distances, and doesn't even have to hang onto me. He's already calculating how many days after he's home he'll be able to walk to his favorite cafes.
My brother is driving down from Boston this evening, so he can stay with Redjeb tomorrow and check up on things for us. As some of you know, my brother is an MD (psychiatrist...not that that's needed) and it helps to have someone you know check up on what's going on.
I'll take this opportunity to run out to East Hampton to take care of some necessary business for the day. The details of life go on even when your concentrated on getting well.
